Shipping and Delivery

Furniture items will arrive in one box. The standard shipping includes delivery to your front threshold - i.e. delivered to your front door, or if you live in an apartment building, to your lobby. This is free for purchases over $650. 

White glove / room of choice delivery includes inside room-of-choice delivery, un-packaging, and trash removal. This is a $75 additional charge. 

Not at this moment - we currently ship to the 48 contiguous states.

Our furniture items are heavy, so please be prepared to have two people carry the item to your room of choice.

  • The Glider+ - box weighs 134.5 lbs
  • The Swivel - box weighs 60 lbs
  • The Ottoman - box weighs 24 lbs

The Glider and The Glider+ both require light assembly - three easy steps that can be done in 5-10 minutes. We do recommend having a helping hand for this due to the weight of the item.

Although we do our best to accurately estimate shipment date, there are times where there may be a delay due to worldwide supply chain issues because of COVID-19 that are beyond our control. Due to this, we recommend that you place your Nurture& order sooner rather than later due to longer than expected shipping and delivery times.

Once your furniture item ships from our warehouse, it takes about 1-3 weeks to be delivered to your local hub, barring any severe weather conditions (and depending on how close you are to a major city). You will then be reached out via the delivery phone number on the order itself. Please allow 2-4 business days for processing of your order. 

 

Returns

We offer a flexible return policy that is designed to allow you to try out any Nurture& furniture pieces worry-free in your own space for 30 days. If you are unhappy with the product for any reason, we will refund the amount paid.

To initiate the return process, please email us at info@nurtureand.com before your 30 day free trial window is over. As we are committed to reducing environmental waste and sustainability, we are proud to offer a donation option for returns.

We currently offer a refund in exchange for you donating your Nurture& product. A valid proof of donation receipt from a 501c3 tax-exempt organization of your choosing must be retained and emailed to info@nurtureand.com within two weeks of the return confirmation date. Once received, you will be refunded for the amount paid.

We can also help with setting you up with any of our charity partners who will come and pick up the item in most major cities. Again, please email us at info@nurtureand.com if you have any questions.

Warranty Information

All Products: Nurture&'s 1 - year warranty covers any issues pertaining for: workmanship, materials, or the frame of the item, starting on the date of delivery There are no fees to repair, replace, or return an item that's covered by our warranty.

The Glider and The Glider+: The Glider and The Glider+'s power and USB is covered by the manufacturer (Okin America) for 2 years, and the recline mechanism is covered by the manufacturer (Leggett & Platt) for 3 years. If either one of those items break during the warranty coverage period, we will work with you to get it fixed by our suppliers ASAP.

The Swivel: The Swivel’s USB is covered by the manufacturer (Okin America) for 2 years.

We use LiveSmart by Culp fabric for our furniture items, which are produced exclusively with performance yarns that are encapsulated with a stain repellent and moisture repellent finish for exceptional "cleanability". Spills bead up on the surface of the fabric instead of penetrating into the cushion.This fabric was developed with years of research and testing, and the LiveSmart technology provides lasting performance. The fabric meets or exceeds standards for ASTM performance and safety.

Ease of cleaning utilizing various cleaning products.

The Furniture

Your purchase of furniture includes the chair. All blankets, extra pillows, babies, and dogs used in our photography are not included. The Swivel comes with a free matching lumbar pillow. 

The cleaning code for this fabric is W - which means that you can spot clean your fabric with a water-based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner. You can also use a brush to agitate the cleaner or an upholstery attachment on a carpet cleaner. Be careful to avoid over-wetting the stain. 

All spills should be treated promptly for best results and ease of removal. Most spills can be cleaned by gently lifting the spill with a paper towel or a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. The use of a paper towel, or clean, dry, absorbent cloth may not completely remove the spill. For further treatment, these guidelines are suggested:

  1. Mix-- use a water based soap mixture that combines 1 tablespoon of a liquid detergent such as Tide with 16 ounces of lukewarm Water
  2. Blot - dampen the cleaning cloth in the mixture and gently blot the soiled area. Avoid rubbing the affected area aggressively.
  3. Rinse - rinse the area with a clean, damp cloth to ensure that all of the soap residue has been removed.

For non-liquid spills that have dried, this may require the use of a soft brush or butter knife on the affected area before following with wet treatment.

Do not allow children to play or use any electronically operated furniture unsupervised. For The Glider, due to the risk of injury, make sure that there is nothing underneath the footrest when it is returned to the closed position. When not in use, leave the chair in an upright and closed position. Keep hands and feet clear of mechanism and only the occupant should operate the mechanism to avoid injury.

For The Ottoman, supervise children closely when opening and closing the top of The Ottoman. Children should not be allowed to be inside The Ottoman at any time and should be carefully supervised.
